James Brown

James Brown has extensive experience in systems administration and technical management, spanning multiple organizations and roles. Beginning as a Staff Research Associate at UCSF, James progressed through various technical positions, including Sys Admin at NBCi and Principal Systems Administrator at CNET Networks, where responsibilities included managing core corporate technologies and leading a team of systems administrators. At Salesforce, James held several key positions, including Director of Internal Capacity Engineering and Technical Program Manager, focusing on automation, tooling solutions, and cloud environments. James also served as a Principal SQA Engineer at Symantec/Brightmail, overseeing QA efforts and performance testing. Educationally, James holds a BA in Psychology from UCSD.
