Jeff Solomon

Jeff Solomon is a Software Engineering Principal Architect at Tableau, a Salesforce Company, where they work on internet scale web servers. They previously held roles as a Senior Software Developer and Principal Software Engineer at Tableau, contributing to multiple versions of Tableau Server. Jeff earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where they focused on visualizing VLSI layouts and patented their thesis, which was later implemented in Synopsys' Physical Synthesis tool. With extensive experience in multi-process and multi-threaded programming, Jeff has also worked as an R&D Engineer at Synopsys and as an Engineer at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. They hold a BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Duke University.
