John Ma is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and platform development across notable companies. As the Head of Platform Engineering at Intuit from 2018 to 2022, John directed over 100 engineers in modernizing SaaS platforms, successfully migrating 250+ applications to AWS and implementing Kubernetes-based microservices. Additional roles at Intuit included Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Manager, where John led the development of cloud-based accounting systems and designed API-first architecture for FinTech products. Previous experience spans from software engineering at IBM and ServiceNow, contributing to enterprise software development and SaaS architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Cloud & AI Platform at Salesforce, John leads six teams of more than eighty engineers, focusing on technology strategy and architecture for future innovations.
