John Leighton

John Leighton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in account management and business development within the public sector and healthcare industries. Currently serving as a Strategic Account Executive at Salesforce since January 2022, John previously held the position of Account Director for Public Sector & Healthcare CX Applications at Oracle from November 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, from May 1999 to November 2019, John was the Senior Account Manager for Public Sector at Optus, managing relationships with various Queensland State Government Agencies and acquiring deep insights into procurement procedures and agency structures. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting from The University of Queensland, completed between 1990 and 1993.
