John Slater

John Slater has a diverse background in hydrology, IT management, and software engineering, with extensive experience leading teams and managing projects across various companies. They worked as a hydrologist and IT manager at Hydro Geo Chem, Inc. from 1992 to 2000, followed by roles at Advent Software and Cisco, where they managed ERP applications and integration projects. Currently, they serve as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Salesforce, focusing on data protection and security intelligence. John is pursuing an M.S. in Hydrology from the University of Arizona and a BA in Applied Mathematics from the University of Wyoming.
