Lyra W. is a scientist currently working as the Director of Strategic Data Science at Salesforce, focusing on strategic planning and data science. They previously served as a Research Scientist at the Energy Emissions Modeling and Data Lab, leading the Appalachian Methane Initiative pilot project, and were a Graduate Researcher at the Sustainable Energy Transition lab at The University of Texas at Austin. Lyra has experience as a Senior Consultant at EY and as an MBA Consulting Group Assistant at New York University Stern School of Business. They are also pursuing a PhD in Data Science at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and hold a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from NYU. Passionate about methane emissions mitigation, Lyra has engaged in policy evaluation, technology assessment, and machine learning modeling.
