Mica Block

Mica Block is a seasoned professional in the field of technology and sales engineering, currently serving as a Principal Technical Architect at Salesforce since October 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Sales Engineer at DataStax from July 2020 to September 2023 and Principal Analytics Architect for Magellan at OpenText, where Mica managed a team to enhance global sales through AI product demonstrations and completed over 30 proof of concepts. Mica has a lengthy tenure at Actuate Corporation, fulfilling several roles including Director of Actuate Corporate Engineers, where leadership of a global sales engineering team was key, and Director F-Type, overseeing the first freemium product line. Earlier experience includes roles at Powersoft Corporation and Information Builders, contributing to client support and product management. Mica holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
