Torben Markussen is a seasoned leader in solution engineering with extensive experience at Salesforce since October 2015, currently serving as SVP of Solution Engineering for Northern Europe. In this role, Torben leads a team of innovative Solution Engineers, collaborating with customers, partners, and industry thought leaders to enhance customer success and promote the Customer Success Platform. Prior to Salesforce, Torben had a long tenure at Oracle from May 1998 to September 2015, where roles included Senior Sales Director for Denmark, Norway, and Finland, and Nordic Middleware Presales Senior Director, managing diverse teams and driving sales in various technology sectors. Torben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Export Engineering from Copenhagen University College of Engineering and completed an Executive Board Education program at Copenhagen Business School in early 2023.
