Jon Mongan

Jon Mongan has over 13 years of work experience in software development and design technology. In 2022, they began working as a Software Developer IV for CAVALLO (Previously SalesPad). In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer at Better.com, where they created a new component library based on design system foundations. Jon also held the role of Design Technologist Lead at Flexport, where they worked to develop and refine the company design system. In 2019, they were the Lead Design Technologist at WeWork, helping to revise and complete their latest design system. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Sr Design Technologist and Design Technologist at Amazon, where they worked with FireTV, Fire Tablets and Alexa products. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Senior Front End Developer at Ancestry.com, where they were a team lead over the San Francisco embedded front-end development department. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Front End Developer for Mongan Web and as a Contractor for CoreLogic. In 2007, they were a Writer for The Mongan Group, where they worked with clients to develop compelling, concise copy.

Jon Mongan attended Penn State University from 1999 to 2003, studying Communication and Media Studies.
