Jonathan Peer has over 20 years of work experience. Jonathan started their career in 2000 as a Store Level Management at Blockbuster, where they held the title of Assistant Store Manager and oversaw scheduling and reviews of employees, store signage, product setup, and store theft. In 2005, they joined PHNS as a National Service Desk Supervisor, where they held the positions of Third Shift Lead, First Shift Lead, and Supervisor. In 2007, they joined Anthelio Healthcare Solutions (formerly PHNS, Inc.) as a Senior Technical Analyst, where they supported the ITIL-based central tracking application, Wendia POB, in its continued development and administration, wrote and managed over 350 crystal reports, and reviewed and managed cross customer and enterprise changes as the Change Manager. In 2013, they worked as a Consultant / Self-Employed as a Crystal Report Developer. In 2015, they joined Unisys as an Application Development Engineer. In 2017, they joined Passport as a Senior Support Engineer, where they wrote SQL sprocs/views to support workarounds or processes for custom requests and developed custom Telerik reports based on customer requests within the parking realm including enforcement and and finance. In 2022, they joined SalesPage Technologies as a Senior Data Engineer.

Jonathan Peer obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Michigan-Flint between 2003 and 2006. Jonathan then pursued two Master's Degrees from Kettering University, one in Information Technology and one in Business Administration, which they completed in 2010. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: ITIL Foundation v3 from PEOPLECERT in February 2015, CompTIA Network+ in March 2007, and CompTIA A+ in January 2007.
