Steve Markins

Steve Markins has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering and development field. Steve began their career in 2000 as the Director/Architect of Software Development at Pinion Software, Consulting and Apps Inc (formerly Infraworks). In 2005, they moved to WholeSecurity (which was later acquired by Symantec) as a Senior Principal Engineer and Senior Manager. In 2008, they became the Senior Engineer, Architect and Development Manager at Llesiant Inc. and then in 2009 they were the Development Manager at StoredIQ. In 2010, they joined Quaresso Software as a Systems Software Engineer and Architect. In 2011, they moved to The Advisory Board Company as a Senior Software Engineer and then in 2017 they joined Covr Financial Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2018 they became a Principal Software Engineer at Salient Systems.

Steve Markins obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 1991, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university in 1987.
