Previously, Hald held various positions at Scandic Hotels for two decades, including Direktør, F&B Manager, and Kitchen Chef, focusing on hotel operations and optimizing service for conferences and events. Earlier career experience includes kitchen leadership roles at Himmerland Golf & Country Club and onboard Kongeskibet Dannebro. Hald's educational background includes training from Silkeborg Tekniske Skole and Ålborg Tekniske Skole.
