Roy Knutsen

Roy Knutsen has a diverse work experience in various roles related to risk management, safety, and quality coordination. Roy most recently worked as the Head of Risk Management and Safety at SalMar starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Quality Coordinator at Norway Royal Salmon ASA from October 2019 to January 2023. Roy also held positions as a KS/HMS Leder at NCC from May 2017 to October 2019, a Senior QHSE Advisor at Troms Offshore Management AS from October 2014 to May 2017, and a Quality Manager at Aker Solutions from March 2013 to October 2014. Before that, they worked as a QHSE Manager at Troms Offshore Management AS from February 2012 to March 2013 and as a QHSE Consultant at Troms Offshore Management from June 2010 to February 2012.

Roy Knutsen completed their Bachelor's degree in Safety and Environment from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway between 2006 and 2009. Roy then pursued a Master's degree in Risk Management and Societal Safety at the University of Stavanger from 2009 to 2011.
