Florian Lang

Florian Lang has a diverse and extensive work experience. Florian is currently serving as the Global Business Unit Director for Road Running at Salomon since October 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Business Unit Director for Wintersports at Salomon from May 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining Salomon, Florian worked at PUMA Group from February 2016 to April 2019 as the Teamhead Product Line Management Teamsport Teamwear Apparel/Equipment. In this role, they developed and led a team of 5 international members and was responsible for collection strategies, assortment planning, and KPI analysis and management among other tasks.

Florian briefly worked at The NPD Group in December 2016 as the Executive Director, Sports Industry Expert Europe.

Florian has a significant tenure at adidas, where they served in multiple roles. From March 2013 to January 2016, they worked as a Senior Product Manager. Florian was a Product Manager from November 2011 to February 2013 and a Key Account Manager for International Buying Groups from October 2010 to October 2011. Florian also held the positions of Account Marketing Manager and Junior Marketing Communications Manager during their time at adidas.

Florian started their career at TeamBank AG as a Marketing Strategy Manager from July 2007 to March 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientific Assistant at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg from January 2007 to June 2007.

Florian Lang began their education in 2001 at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, where they pursued a diploma in European Business Administration. Florian successfully completed this program in 2006. During their studies, in 2003 to 2004, Florian also attended Universidad de Alcalá, focusing on International Business Administration.
