George Egan, MS, ATC, currently serves as the Director of Sportstyle North America at Salomon since April 2019, leading the commercial, merchandising, and product strategy for the Sportstyle category in the region. With previous experience as the US Outdoor Category Manager, responsibilities included managing various footwear categories, implementing consumer-driven product offers, and representing US needs within the global organization. Prior to Salomon, Egan worked at Backcountry.com in various buying roles, ultimately as the Buyer for Footwear, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management, assortment selection, vendor negotiations, and inventory management. Egan holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Weber State University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Utah.
