Jake Jacobs is an experienced leader and manager of VibraSÓN Latin Band, a vibrant salsa ensemble based in the Bay Area since its debut in November 2013. In addition to this role, Jake is the owner and founder of SalsabyJake.com, which has been operational since June 1994. Previous contributions include consulting on event planning and teaching at SalsaCrazy from 2001 to 2012, as well as serving as a contributing editor for iSalsa.net from 2006 to 2008, where Jake wrote articles on salsa dancing and learning. Jake holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
