Juan M Barroso

Juan Barroso has a strong background in software development and engineering management. Juan is currently the Co-founder & CTO of Salsa, where they are involved in transforming the way people get paid by building modern infrastructure for modern work. Prior to this, Juan worked at Intuit as an Engineering Manager. In this role, they were responsible for cultivating performance excellence, technical solutions, and engineering practices in line with product roadmaps and customer satisfaction. Juan also headed the migration of a critical platform to the AWS Cloud. Before joining Intuit, Juan worked at Acrede as a Lead Engineer, where they designed and released a global payroll product. Additionally, they worked at eCivilis as a Senior Software Developer, leading a small team and establishing an Agile environment for software development. Juan's early experience includes working at Novasoft as a Software Developer, where they led a company-wide program for internal training and knowledge sharing, and at Microfusión Informática, S.A. as a Software Developer, where they developed an enterprise application for government agencies.

Juan Barroso earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de La Laguna. The dates of their education are not specified.
