Des Drury

Des Drury is a passionate technologist and Lead Architect of Hosting Solutions with extensive experience in infrastructure, observability, and automation. They currently lead the team at Salsa Digital, where they architect and manage a Kubernetes-based hosting service, while previously serving as Director at Cito Pro and Founder of Open Datacentre. Des has authored the video course "Kubernetes in 7 Days" and contributed to numerous open-source projects, showcasing their commitment to empowering teams through knowledge and mentoring. Their career includes key roles in various organizations, where they have implemented enterprise solutions and led initiatives to optimize processes. Des holds a BSc in Applied Computing from the University of Portsmouth.
