Colin Reid

Colin Reid is a seasoned professional in data science and bioinformatics with extensive experience in developing and supporting tools for integrating and analyzing large-scale genomics research data. Currently serving as a Product Expert at Salsify since July 2021, Colin previously held the position of Senior Scientific Support Analyst at the University of Chicago, where contributions focused on petabyte-scale cancer genomics data. Prior roles at BP included Senior Engineer for Software Applications and Software Training and Development Engineer, encompassing a variety of engineering and technical support positions since 2006. Colin holds a Master of Engineering in Bioinformatics from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
