Fernando Garces

Fernando Garces is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Salsify since May 2014, Fernando has held previous positions as Software Engineer at Oracle from February 2012 to May 2014, and Software Engineer at Endeca where responsibilities included optimizing web applications for mobile use. Early career experiences include a teaching assistant role at the University of Waterloo and contributions to the Markus Project at both the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto. Fernando holds a Master’s degree in System Design Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a joint option in Software Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.
