The following activities are mainly carried out in the Borgo Trevi laboratoy:
- Study and creation of new raw materials and functional substances.
- Development of new formulations and/or cosmetic applications.
- Technical training courses help by experts of the cosmetic sector.
SALT develops new fomulations and application solutions mainly oriented towards the natural cosmetics sector. In particular, we create formulations of creams and lotions for the face, hands and body, sun products, decorating products for face, lips and eyes, products for hair removal, hair care, hair styling and hair coloring.

SALT's chemistry respects the environment and has as its primary objective the design of products coming from renewable sources. "Green Chemistry" is an objective in line with the REACh directive of the European Commission on chemical products, which aims at reducing damage caused by the chemicals currently in use.
