Senior Associate at Salter

Felipe Tavera is a seasoned acoustic engineer with a comprehensive background in critical listening space design and noise control solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Salter since May 2015, Felipe has progressed through various roles, including Associate, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at WSDG, focusing on the design of acoustically sensitive architectural spaces, and as an Acoustic Designer at Decibelios SAS, where responsibilities involved surface treatment design for similar environments. Felipe also held the position of Vice President of the Colombian Acoustics Society (ASCAC), managing the organization’s business and strategic plans. Additional roles include Foley Editor for an MTV Latin America production and Acoustic Consultant for noise control projects. Felipe holds a degree in Sound Engineering and Acoustics from Universidad de San Buenaventura, earned from 2007 to 2012.
