Salt & Mud is a luxury natural skincare brand born in 2021 in the United Arab Emirates, founded by visionary entrepreneur Muhannad Muhtaseb.

Rooted in the ancient healing traditions of the Dead Sea and refined through the elegance of modern Middle Eastern living, Salt & Mud exists at the intersection of nature, science, and sustainability.

The brand’s story begins in Jordan, where Muhannad was immersed in the world of mineral-based skincare through his family’s pioneering cosmetics business established in 1998. 

This early exposure to the therapeutic richness of the Dead Sea instilled in him a deep respect for nature’s power to restore and heal. After relocating to the UAE a hub of design, luxury, and forward-thinking hospitality he envisioned a brand that would marry this elemental wisdom with a contemporary, conscious lifestyle.
