Steven Jackman serves as General Counsel for Salute, a private equity-backed data center service provider, since December 2024, while also contributing as an Adjunct Instructor for Business Law I at De Anza College since January 2024. Previously, Steven held the position of Partner at VLP Law Group LLP from August 2023 to December 2024, and was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Digital Realty Trust from April 2019 to July 2023, providing legal and business advice for a major data center REIT. Steven’s extensive legal career also includes significant roles as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Flex Ltd. (April 2011 - February 2019) and as Vice President & Corporate Counsel at Sanmina Corporation (July 2000 - May 2011). Early in the career, Steven gained experience as Assistant General Counsel at Benchmark Electronics, Associate at Holland & Knight, and Associate at Booth, Wade & Campbell/Wade & Campbell. Steven earned a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (1991) and a BA in Economics and French from the University of California, Berkeley (1988).
