Sheetal Kumar Chanda

Sheetal Kumar Chanda is the Director of Coatings and Lithography at Torrent Photonics, having assumed the role in 2025. With 18 years of experience in research, design, and engineering, they previously served as the Director of Engineering at Omega Optical. Sheetal began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida, focusing on the fabrication of solar cells. They hold a Master’s degree in Microelectronics from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
