Samaki Mtaani is a women-led clean cooking and food vending micro-franchise empowering informal women entrepreneurs across Kenya to build dignified, sustainable incomes.

We work through partner organizations to recruit and train women vendors, equipping them with a complete business setup kit—including a clean BURN EcoJiko stove, utensils, branding gear, and access to quality fish, briquettes, and cooking oil. Vendors receive daily stock, repay their setup kit through sales, and earn consistent income with dignity and ownership.

Our digital platform enables real-time data tracking—monitoring daily sales, carbon savings, repayments, and income growth—while connecting women to savings, insurance, and carbon revenue benefits.

Each EcoJiko distributed reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 80%, helping communities fight deforestation and household air pollution. Our goal is to create 10,000 women-led micro-enterprises by 2030, each representing income security, food resilience, and climate impact.
