Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Scott most recently served as the VP of Revenue at Samara starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Abodu from April 2022 to August 2022 as the Head of Project Operations and from August 2021 to April 2022 as the Head of Construction and Manufacturing.

Before their time at Abodu, Scott held the position of Director of Operations, California Construction at KATERRA from October 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they had direct responsibility over the California/Reno Construction Division and managed customer relationships in late-stage project development and active construction execution phases.

From December 2016 to September 2019, Scott worked at ENGIE Storage as the Director of Operations. Scott was responsible for the company's operational strategy, EPC contracting, and operational asset management for a portfolio of Li-ion based Battery Energy Storage assets.

Scott also gained experience at Sundt Construction, Inc., where they worked as a Project Manager from April 2015 to July 2015, as a Field Superintendent from April 2013 to March 2015, and as a Field Engineer from August 2011 to April 2013.

In their early career, Scott worked as an Engineer Intern at Sundt Construction from June 2010 to January 2011 and as an Intern at Caltrans from June 2009 to August 2009.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in operations, project management, customer relationship management, and team leadership.

Scott Wilson attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering. Scott also obtained additional certifications during their education, including an Associate Constructor certification from the American Institute of Constructors and an Engineer In Training certification from the Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in July 2010.
