Denis Cuenca

Denis Cuenca is currently the Chief Audit and Compliance Officer at Vale and a member of the Audit, Risk, and Integrity Committee at Aegea Saneamento. With an extensive background in audit and compliance, Denis has held various roles including Executive Controller and Auditing Manager at Itautec S/A, and Director of Risks, Compliance, and Audit at Ultrapar S/A. They began their career as an Auditor at KPMG, later working at Banco Itaú and Banco Real, among others. Denis also contributed as the Secretary of Governance for the Board of Administration at IBGC from 2014 to 2017 and continues to be involved as a member of committees focused on risk and compliance.
