Fernando Bicalho

Fernando Bicalho is currently the Gerente de Geotecnia at Samarco, where they are responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and dam safety standards while implementing processes aligned with GISTM and TSM. With 17 years of experience in project and routine management, Fernando has a solid background in geotechnics, having previously held roles including Coordenador de Controles Geotecnicos and Engenheiro de Planejamento. They have also worked as an Analista Funcional SAP and Engenheiro de Coordenação de Projetos at VSE. Fernando holds a degree in Engenharia de Produção from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa and has completed specializations in Geotecnia and Project Management.
