Jonathan Kumar has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2007 with a sales representative role at CUTCO Cutlery, followed by an internship at Beyond Blue Productions in the same year. In 2009, they became a student manager for Michigan Athletics and an organizer for TEDx UofM. In 2010, they were a missions intern at Iglesia Gran Comision. In 2011, Jonathan co-founded FoodCircles, where they acted as Cofounder and Growth Lead. In 2013, they started kumar.io, a startup for hire, and in 2016 they founded Samaritan, a platform to connect people on or near the street with the social and financial capital needed to find a home.
