Peter Stuart

Peter Stuart is an experienced leader in the Anglican community, serving as Bishop and Assistant Bishop for the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle since March 2009. In addition to these roles, Peter holds the position of President at the Samaritans Foundation, Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation, and Anglican Care since February 2018. Peter previously served as Chairperson for JFA Purple Orange from July 2006 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Flinders University, a Master of Management from the University of Technology Sydney, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the University of Tasmania, and a Bachelor of Divinity from the University of Divinity. Peter is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
