Andrew Robarts

Andrew Robarts has extensive work experience in the field of governance, risk, and compliance. Andrew currently holds the position of Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance at Samaritans, starting in August 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Governance at Samaritans from April 2020 to August 2023. Before joining Samaritans, they worked as a Governance Manager at the organization from June 2016 to April 2020.

In addition to their experience at Samaritans, Andrew has also worked at Reading Voluntary Action as an Advice Worker specializing in legal and governance from September 2014 to June 2016.

Earlier in their career, Andrew Robarts worked at WaterAid, where they held various positions including Outsource Manager from April 2010 to February 2013, Supporter Relations Officer from March 2009 to April 2010, and Supporter Relations Advisor from March 2008 to March 2009.

Andrew Robarts completed their LLB in Law from the University of Leeds from 2003 to 2006. Andrew later pursued a Legal Practice Course at Guildford University of Law from 2013 to 2014.
