Axel Murillo

Axel Murillo is a seasoned digital transformation leader with extensive experience in program management and web development. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Digital Services Transformation at Samaritans since February 2023, Axel previously held the role of Interim Assistant Director of Digital Services & Change at the same organization. Prior to this, Axel was the Digital Programme Director at Kreative Ink and tms, focusing on harnessing technology and talent for transformational change. Additional roles include CTO at AngloINFO, Digital Products Delivery Manager at Ascential, and Global Head of Web Development at World Trade Group. Axel's career began with founding DesignsElite, providing web development and UX/UI consulting services, and earlier experience includes working at Barnes & Noble, Inc. Axel holds a degree in Multimedia Authoring & Communication from Sam Houston State University.
