Danielle Rowley

Danielle Rowley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy, communications, and campaign management within the political sector. Since June 2021, Danielle has served as the Head of Policy and Communications at Samaritans, following roles that include Influencing Manager and Policy and Campaigns Consultant for the Scottish Labour MSP Group. Previously, Danielle managed the campaign for Labour Leader Emily Thornberry, served as Shadow Minister for Climate Justice and Green Jobs, and held the position of Member of Parliament for Midlothian. Danielle's early career features significant contributions at Shelter Scotland, ACOSVO, and various roles that involved media and digital content management. Danielle holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Edinburgh Napier University and has completed a HNC in Radio Broadcasting.
