John Drew

John Drew is a seasoned professional in workforce leadership and improvement within the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Director of Workforce, Training & Education at NHS England since July 2020. Responsible for overseeing workforce management across the Midlands region, Drew collaborates with 11 Integrated Care Systems and manages both a substantial NHS staff base and numerous trainees. Prior roles include Director of Staff Experience & Engagement at NHS England, Director of Improvement & Culture at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and Partner at McKinsey & Company, where Drew led initiatives to enhance hospital operations in the UK and Europe.
