John Wilkins

John Wilkins has extensive experience in volunteer management and leadership, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Volunteering and Head of Volunteer Services at Samaritans since January 2022. Prior to this role, John held multiple positions at RSPCA from 2005 to February 2022, including Head of Volunteering, Head of Volunteering and Apprenticeships, Learning & Development Manager, Training Superintendent, and Chief Inspector. Earlier in their career, John worked as a Manager at C&A from March 1984 to March 1996 and as a Tailor's Assistant at Buxton and Bonnet in 1984. John holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Sustainability in Business from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, as well as qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring from The Institute of Leadership and Management and CIPD CTP in Learning and Development from Brighton MET.
