Phil Cliff

Phil Cliff has extensive experience in governance and executive leadership, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the People & Culture Committee at Samaritans since March 2019, and as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Trailblazers Mentoring since February 2025. Previously, Phil held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Operations at Westbrook International Ltd, leading significant organizational transformations and operational improvements. Prior roles include Group Telephony Transformation Director and Group Customer Service and PPI Director at Lloyds Banking Group, as well as key leadership positions at Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales and Santander UK Corporate & Commercial. Phil's career began at NatWest, where various roles spanned from Programme Manager to other leadership positions. Phil holds a BTEC in Business Studies from Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University.
