Sean Higgins

Sean Higgins has an extensive background in volunteer work and management. Currently serving as a volunteer for Samaritans since June 2004, Sean has also held the position of Director for the Irish Festival and previously served as the Deputy Director of Outreach at Samaritans Belfast from May 2013 to October 2019. Prior experience includes an Area Manager role at the Northern Ireland Census Office from April 2010 to August 2011 and a long-term position as Deputy Advertising Manager at The Irish News from July 1989 to November 2009. Sean holds several management qualifications from The Open University, with earlier education completed at St Macnissi's College Garron Tower in Co Antrim.
