Jonathan Travis

Jonathan Travis has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jonathan is currently working as a Principal Engineer at SamCart since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Charles & Colvard, Ltd. from 2016 to 2023, where they held the roles of Web Development Manager and Senior Architect, and later as E-Commerce Technical Manager and Senior Architect. During this time, they were involved in full stack development of a next-generation e-commerce solution and the launch of a new website merging multiple web properties onto a single platform.

Before Charles & Colvard, Jonathan served as CTO at Shattered Digital, Inc. from 2014 to 2020, where they built Clearstats.com and RepostQ. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at Angular (formerly Virante, Inc.) as the Director of Development, designing and developing various PHP E-Commerce and SaaS applications.

Jonathan's earlier experiences include working at AtlanticBT as a Senior Software Engineer in 2010, where they developed PHP E-Commerce and CMS based web applications, and trained junior engineers. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Frontend Engineering at iContact from 2006 to 2010 and worked as a Software Developer at Sony Ericsson from 2000 to 2004.

Jonathan Travis began their education at NCSU in 1995.
