Daniel Lord is currently a Process Engineer at SAMCO Technologies and a Senior majoring in Chemical Engineering at the University at Buffalo’s Honors College. They have extensive lab experience through coursework and extracurricular projects, including efforts to produce hydrogen gas from algae and optimize a redox flow battery under the guidance of Dr. Timothy Cook. Previously, they served as a Student Leader for EAS 199, mentoring first-year engineering students, and worked as a Fluidcare Engineer at Quaker Houghton, where they maintained process control and directed a team in operational tasks. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
