Abhay Deshpande is currently a Scientist at SAMEER, specializing in the design and development of Linac for cancer therapy, RF Photo Cathode Gun for low emittance beams, Linac for high current applications, and Hadron Therapy. Abhay also holds the title of Hon. Coordinator for Khagol Mandal, an Amateur Astronomy NGO where Abhay has volunteered since 1990. Abhay has a Ph.D. in Physics from the Graduate University of Advanced Studies, Japan.
