Dr. Rao, Hanumantha is a highly experienced professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as the Director General at SAMEER (R&D of DIT, Govt of India) since September 1990, and as the Program Director at the mmwave center, SAMEER Kolkata from January 2021. Dr. Rao has held various roles at SAMEER, including Scientist at the SAMEER-Centre For Electromagnetics until June 2022. Prior experience includes work as a Scientist at the Space Applications Centre (ISRO), focusing on microwave remote sensing applications.
