Karolis Rimkus

Karolis Rimkus has an extensive work experience in the field of product design and UI/UX design. Karolis is currently working at SameSystem - Workforce Management, where they serve as the Product design Chapter Lead. In this role, they not only works as a product designer in a cross-functional team but also leads the consistency, capability building, and vision setting within the Product design chapter. Karolis also has experience as a Product Designer, where they designed AI and Machine learning features for future workforce management. Karolis conducted research, user interviews, and created user journey maps in this role. Prior to SameSystem, Karolis worked as a UI/UX Designer at emotion - we build digital empires, and as a Lead UI/UX Designer at Easyframe. Karolis has also worked as a Freelance UX/UI and Brand Designer, handling various design projects such as UI/UX, dashboards, websites, branding, logos, and prints. Karolis has also served as a Lecturer at Baltic Talents academy.

Karolis Rimkus obtained a Bachelor's degree in Visual Design from Vilniaus dailės akademija | Vilnius Academy of Arts, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Journey Mapping, UX Management: Strategy and Tactics, UI Design Patterns for Successful Software, and a Certificate of Membership from the Interaction Design Foundation.
