Danny Hui has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Danny founded Sameview, a start-up that focuses on improving care coordination for families with a disabled member. Danny also founded NetDVP, a company that provides cloud-based health monitoring solutions for high-risk industries. Additionally, Danny served as a director at Windmill Group Pty Ltd. Danny has also held various managerial roles at Ausgrid, where they managed teams and was responsible for safety management, crisis management, business continuity, and incident response. In their earlier career, Danny worked as an IT Manager at IVF Australia and as an engineer at EnergyAustralia, where they worked on strategic planning, operational systems, and project implementation.

Danny Hui's education history begins with obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Wollongong from 1999 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Chifley Business from 2003 to 2006.

Moving to more recent years, in 2020, Danny completed a course titled "Governance for Social Impact" at UNSW Business School. In 2021, they furthered their education by attending a course called "Value Measurement for Health Care" at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
