Billy Burke is the Head of Service at SAMH and has been in this role since 2023. They previously served as Head Teacher and Depute Head Teacher at Renfrewshire Council from 2013 to 2023, and held the position of President at School Leaders Scotland in 2018-2019. Additionally, they are currently an Associate Tutor at the University of Strathclyde, where they teach on the Into Headship Qualification. Billy holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Strathclyde and dual degrees in Philosophy and Mathematics as well as a PGCE from the University of Glasgow.
