Hazel McIlwraith

Hazel McIlwraith is the Director of Fundraising and Major Appeal at SAMH, where they lead initiatives to support mental health services. Previously, Hazel served as the Capital Campaign Director for Ayrshire Hospice, successfully securing £13M for a transformative £17M project. Their extensive fundraising experience includes roles such as Head of Global Philanthropy at the University of Stirling and Deputy Director of Fundraising at ENABLE Scotland. Hazel has also led significant capital campaigns for Citizens Theatre and Mencap. They are currently pursuing postgraduate degrees at Belmont Academy and the London School of Musical Theatre.
