Daniel Maas, MPH, serves as a Public Health Advisor at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), where responsibilities include monitoring Drug Court grantees and serving as the Criminal Justice Team Point of Contact for Tribal and Veterans Problem Solving Courts. As an Adjunct Instructor and Course Developer at Wilmington University, Daniel teaches undergraduate courses and has designed a curriculum focused on opioids and addiction. Previous roles include HERO Help Coordinator for the New Castle County Police Department, Executive Director of the Delaware Coalition Against Gun Violence Educational Fund, and Public Health Analyst overseeing opioid response efforts in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
