Heather Cooper

Heather Cooper is a seasoned professional in grants management with extensive experience in the field. Since July 2016, Heather has served as a Senior Grants Management Specialist at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Prior to this role, Heather worked at Veterans Management Services, Inc. as a Grants Management Specialist from July 2007 to July 2016, where responsibilities included serving as the division liaison and primary contact for the Automated Standard Application for Payment (ASAP) system. Earlier roles included Grants Management Technician at Haynes Inc- HHS from 2004 to 2006 and Administrative Assistant at Haynes Inc from 2001 to 2004. Heather holds an Associate of Arts degree from Montgomery College and the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).
