Michele Squires has extensive experience in the behavioral health and addiction counseling fields, currently serving as an Accreditation Surveyor at CARF International and a Clinical Preceptor at Social Solutions International, Inc. In previous roles, Michele has been the Chief Training Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at First Step Recovery Centers, overseeing training and management of significant projects such as the SMART Project. Additionally, Michele has contributed as a Peer Reviewer for SAMHSA and a Clinical Trainer for the Therapeutic Justice Institute. Michele's leadership experience includes serving as President of the Tennessee Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors and Executive Director of Chemical Dependency at Strategic Behavioral Health. With a strong academic background, including a Master of Science in Correctional Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Community Corrections from Mount Mercy University, Michele has significantly impacted the treatment and recovery community.
