Sean Hunt, MD, MHCM, FACHE, possesses extensive experience in healthcare and leadership. Currently, Sean serves as a District Staff Officer for Public Education and Branch Chief for Leadership Training at the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, while also holding multiple roles as an Operational Auxiliarist, Certified Instructor, and Vessel Examiner. Sean has been a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain since 1970 and serves as a Captain for Finestkind Scenic Cruises. Additionally, Sean contributes to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) focusing on Medication Assisted Treatment of Substance Abuse. Previous roles include Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the Geisel School of Medicine and Senior Staff Anesthesiologist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, along with various board positions in medical and health associations. Academic qualifications encompass a Master of Health Care Management from Harvard University, a Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Boston College, where Sean graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology & Chemistry.
